Yoga wheel....a sign of madnessπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Ok ...I did itπŸ˜…πŸ’ͺ
 Or... Shall I say , I made it till the end πŸ˜‚

 Conclusion of the today:
 Whoever invented the yoga wheel must had some serious issues whilst creating itπŸ˜‚
 Or maybe it's me?
 It must be me!
 I am the one who bought it in the first placeπŸ€”πŸ˜‚

 Ps. Next time I will listen to my rational mind more! Decided!!!
 ( unfortunately these decisions only last a few hours before I get back into creative mode and start creating something crazy againπŸ˜‚)

 Before that happen ,let me explain what I did do in my workout today :

 4 Rounds of 6 exercises ( they are 2 exercises performed twice, split and performed first on the L then R)
 I did it in form of interval training so my timer was set for 24 x 10/30. (If you don't want to work with a timer,switch to set amount of reps per each exercise instead)

 Each round consist of :

 1) Dragon lunge to side lunge (sliders) L
 2) Dragon lunge to side lunge (sliders) R
 3) Kettlebell swing
 4)Plank knee tuck on yoga wheel with single leg extension L
 5) Plank Knee tuck on yoga wheel with single leg extension R
 6)Double knee slide to press up to side plank pose alt.sides

 Remember,quality over quantity!
 Although don't be too fixated on perfection - Look at me performing yoga wheel exercise ,and you will get my point πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

 It's about progression,so just do your best πŸ˜‰

"Flex your happiness" home workout

Today I had one of those glorious mornings ...I woke up early...really early ...just as I like.
I had a nice cup of coffee , meditated for 20 mins and then ....I felt inspired...to train 😈😜πŸ’ͺ

So today's post is about my home based interval workout....

Short, fast and sweet way of getting in to higher gear! Physically and mentallyπŸ˜‰πŸ’ͺ🧘‍♀️πŸ‘Œ

Try itπŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰

 I like my usual 5 rounds , so I did 5 of 5 different exercises .

 Set your timer to :

25x10/30 ( 5 rounds)
 Or
15x10/30 (3 rounds if you are a beginner)

 Each round consists of :

 1) side lunge kettle bell shoulder press L
 2) side lunge kettle bell shoulder press R
 3) tricep dips
 4) 4 scissor up and down to 2 double leg raises   5) press up, 2 cross knee tucks , 2 straight leg kick backs

It's not always about pushing hard , fighting ...

Sometimes it is about letting it go, relaxing, trusting and allowing good things to happen naturally.

Sometimes, taking a walk in nature or simply driving on country roads, can simply bring this sense of serenity and balance back into our life.
These simple and little things turn out to be the big things as they make a massive impact on the quality of our life, on our wellbeing.

Go outside, look around, take a deep breath ...
Go for a walk if you can ....
Be still for a minute or two;)

 A habit is nothing different than a thought that we keep thinking or a thing that we keep doing over and over....eventually, it becomes our second nature, so to speak.

L-C-S Workout

L-C-S Workout (legs, core, shoulders)

 3 - 5 rounds of 5 different exercises done in form of HIIT training.

 30 secs max effort and 10 secs rest in between each exercise
 Set your timer to :
15x10/30 (for 3 rounds)
 Or
 25x10/30 (for 5 rounds)

 Each round consists of:

 1) Raised monkey press ups
 2) Long arm crunch with added weight
 ( I am using 5 kg plate in this workout. If you are a complete beginner, you can skip the plate and just try to touch your ankles instead)
3) Kick ups
4)Swiss ball knee pikes
5) Bosu mountain climbers

 Again , remember that the correct form is more important that speed.
Keep your core tights at all times .

 Start where you are, believe you can do it and just do what you can.
 It's not about perfection ,it's about progression Step by step ...you got this πŸ’ͺ

Sliders HIIT workout

Hi woosome people!
I hope you all are doing great ;)

Today, I have super time saving workout idea for you .
I am using one of my favourite piece of equipment,  the sliders 😈😈😈
These little bad boys will take your workout to another level so, be prepared for a challengeπŸ’ͺπŸ˜‰
Please remember, it's not so much about speed , it's about the quality of repetitions - that is the key to build a strong body and staying away from an injury πŸ‘

Set timer to perform each exercise for 30 secs with only 10 secs break in between.

Aim for 3-5 rounds in total.

If you using an interval timer just like me ,set your timer to 15x 10/30 ( for 3 rounds)
Or
5x 10/30 (for 5 rounds)

 Each round consists of :

 1)sliding back lunges, alt.sides
 2)sliding side lunges, alt.sides
 3)press up with side slide, alt.sides
 4)mountain climbers on sliders
 5)sliding pikes

Healthy chicken made easy and tasty

This is one of my favourite πŸ₯˜πŸ₯˜πŸ₯˜

Very simple recipe, tasty..and pretty looking too 😜

This chicken can be used as part of  the main meal ; your favourite salad ; healthy sandwich, wrap or even soup.....many options to choose from, which is a bonus πŸ‘Œ

Ingredients:

1kg skinless chicken breast
Smoked paprika powder
Garlic powder
Black pepper
Pink Himalayan salt
A bit of fresh lemon juice
Few slices of fresh lemon
1 tbsp of rapseed oil

Method:

Put chicken breasts in a bowl ,add spices, lemon juice and oil.
Mix it well till all chicken breasts are evenly covered with spices.

Lie them down on a baking tray or a roasting dish , one next to another.
Place a single slice of lemon on each breast

Place tray/roasting dish in the pre-heated oven
To 200°C /  392°F / Gas 6 .
Roasting time : 60 minutes

Voila!

I do my cards on a regular basis for many reasons, but mostly because it lifts my spirit, helps me to stay grounded, positve and also gives me a guidance for the day/week ahead.

This is one of my tricks I practice... I call it, my woo magic🧘‍♀️πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‰

"Resistance is my friend "

Hi guys,

Today I am sharing with you one of my ideas,
how to implement weights into your interval training.
I can't emphasize enough how much I love this type of training
First- it saves me a lot of time (which is precious to me)
Two- this type of training (with a small moderation made to it) can be performed anywhere.. so no gym membership is needed
Three- it works muscles and cardiovascular system at the same time.

Little disclaimer:

Don't attempt this type of training if you have a heart conditions .
Switch timed rounds to repetitions instead and have longer breaks so your pulse stay in healthy range.

Otherwise,  set your interval timer for 30 secs max effort and 10 secs rest in between exercises.
Aim to accomplish 3- 5 rounds

Sunday . . .

Sunday.... Perfect day for reflection, appreciation and some fun. It's worth stepping away from being an adult for a moment and reviving your inner child. Kids can help with that....
 So today I played....firstly on a tennis court (Well,not so much playing , more like chasing a ball πŸ˜‚but it was fun)
 Then in thw kids playground... Monkey bars, ropes and some funny games on the ground that reminds me of my childhood

I am grateful for this day and this little beautiful soul in my life that reminds me what life is really about ❤

Yesterday is gone
Today is a blessing
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone...

So..

Step away from worries and seriousness
Take a deep breath and charge your batteries
Count your blessings and just be

" Stuffed roasted peppers "

I really like combining healthy and tasting great together ;)

This dish is kind of all in one so it can be eaten on it's own as well as a side dish ;)

Ingredients:

* pointed peppers
* few button mushrooms
* red onion chopped
* few dried tomatoes
* couple of green and black pitted olives
* 50g of feta cheese
* 1 large chicken breast cut in cubes ( can be replaced with soya cubes if you're vegetarian )
* 100g wild rice
* 100g quinoa
* pink Himalayan salt
* black pepper
* sweet smoked paprika
* 1 cube of chicken/ vegetable stock


Method :

Cook wild rice and quinoa in one pot with chicken stock till it's ready
Drain it and set it aside

Fry diced chicken breast mixed with salt ,pepper and paprika with a small amount of olive oil or no oil at all
( if you are using soya cubes, cook them accordingly to description on the packaging before you start frying)
Add chopped mushrooms and onion to the pan with the chicken when its almost ready

Chop dried tomatoes, olives and feta cheese

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix it together

Stuff  the peppers with the mixture

Put them in a roasting dish and place them on the middle shelf in a preheated oven at 200°C / 390 F / gas mark 6 for 30-35 mins


Voila!

Once you try it , you will make it again !

I guarantee it πŸ˜‰

As a proper badass chick, I do my DIY at home myself.... Planning to put some pictures up and looking for the right size drill bits...

I genuinely do my best to look for reasons to  laugh every single day πŸ€ͺ

I believe that sense of humour is one of the most important components of healthy and happy life style.

Laughing raises the energy , speeds up recovery from training,
improves relationships, makes life much easier happier brighter and longer! Not to mention that it keeps body at bay from any disease! This is clinically proven fact guysπŸ’ͺ

So lets do it together! Our mission for today ( and any other day) is : to keep looking for reasons to be happy and celebrating it every time we find itπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Turkey burgers..because food matters






There are things I do and stick to, simply not because I have to,its because I want to - that makes massive difference...why? ...because it's choice rather must!  I believe that works and helps not only me to maintain the happy  body:)...no struggle anymore! Enjoy your foods,training ,life.. and get results you desire...its all possible :)

Turkey burgers

I bought 2 packages of Turkey mince meat
It was about 1 kg in total
 I ha w putted the meat in a bowl, added some Himalayan pink salt, black I pepper ,2 eggs ...and mixed all together .

O fried it without oil,  my pan is really good so I dont need extra greese.

My a was to make burgers,roughly my own palm size ( that's the size of protein portion I use per meal)

It's really easy , cook whole lot and use it to prepare your meals.

Ps . Remember ,its not about perfection,  it's about progression;)

 I challenged Google maps about week ago ...walked to simply gym and beat Google maps time by about 8 minutes

 YeyyyyπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

 Angg vs Google maps was 1: 0...get inπŸ’ͺ😜

 Yesterday I decided to challenge it again on much longer distance.... This time result was different. Google wooped my butt by almost 20 mins lol

 Point taken Google, you won ! We are equal ...for now πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

 I walked fast, really wanted to beat the time again .... My bladder wanted to beat the time too! Trust me πŸ˜‚
 By the time I arrived to my destination ,my feet were on fire, no joke! I thought I had blisters, likely there wasn't any ,just soreness lol
 I was called "a nut case" ...πŸ€”...with love😜 ...so I take that as a complement πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

 Would I do it again? Sure!
I just love moving my body ! In any possible way! I love how it makes me feel (despite sore feet and exploding bladder at times lol) , there is something magical about it, sense of accomplishment, satisfaction ,feeling more alive ....
 Even the food tastes better too lol😜

 I am back to weights tomorrow πŸ’ͺ
 No , I am not going to walk to the gym this time πŸ˜‚
 Got to plan more exciting route for my next trip😊🌞
But for now, it is time to just chill 😊

Little update

It's been 5 days now since I started my little " no moaning challenge ".
I must admit , I am doing pretty good , however I must confess , I dipped few times too πŸ™ŠπŸ˜‚
Never mind, it's normal, other wise it would not bee called a challenge, right? The game is still onπŸ’ͺ

Ok , lets get to the exciting part now!

2 days ago I had been interviewed for Youtube Channel , by amazing lady called Monika Vrublova.
She is very much into mindset and spirituality like myself, so as you can imagine, our conversation was pretty awesome! We spoke about many important topics i.e, real benefits of fitness, energy , confidence, self esteem , the Law of Attraction! woohoo :)....soooooooo exciting !!!!
The interview will be available to watch on Monday , 3rd of June at 6pm (BST)

I know it is a month away , but once is out , I will share it to my blog too, so you can watch it directly  from here :)

Ps. There is much more exciting stuff happening behind the scenes at the minute, but I will keep my lips sealed....for now 😜
